Jim Harper will be showing a number of new paintings, as well as many drawings, oil pastels and watercolors, at the Ithaca Artists Market, on July 29th, 2011, from 2 pm to 8 pm, at the Ithaca Farmers Market site on Steamboat Landing (545 Third Street), in Ithaca, NY. He will also have on sale a new line of greeting cards featuring his Flora Series of paintings.

A juried show that has a large attendance each year, Harper is one of 68 fine artists that were selected to show at the Ithaca Artists Market this year. In addition to the visual artists, 17 Tompkins County arts organizations will have booths, giving the public a chance to learn about their mission and get a sneak preview of their upcoming events. There will be five-minute performances from various arts organizations interspersed throughout the day. The remaining booths will feature food vendors offering everything from full meals to desserts, chocolate, wine and beer.
